Rock Academy members did activities in Ordenda Springs to confirm their personality, dig out their weakness, and challenge themselves.<\/span><\/p>

All members took an authoritative personality test during the summer. Supervisors of Rock Amademy, aiming at helping people find themselves and develop a mutually-supported group, chooses Ordenda Springs, whose mission is \u201c<\/span>to inspire people to realize their true potential by\u00a0<\/span>learning how to embrace challenges that bring about change\u201d<\/span>, to help the Rock members more familiarize with each other and combine their different personal traits to complete seemingly impossible tasks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Rock members helped each other climb on a net 3m from the ground, \u201cbe a supporter to others\u2019 activity\u201d<\/span>, <\/span>overcome their fear and climb on trees, etc.<\/span><\/p>

As a \u201crisk taker\u201d, I always like to challenge myself and enjoy the risk. However,\u00a0 through this advanture, I became more prudent because I can\u2019t let my team suffer the unpredictable risk as I do. Thinking the whole picture for the team is more vital than acting on impulse without consideration. <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

It was definitely a great experience to challenge myself and walk out of my comfort zone. Orenda Spring\u2019s Mission is to inspire people to realize their true potential by learning how to embrace challenges that bring about change. I was really impressed with what they designed in the Rope Courses because it made me decide when I would release the rope or jump from the heigh platform or not, so that it allows me to encourage myself and which fosters a deeper understanding of self, others, and nature.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Knowing yourself and understanding the principles behind certain things, you can do whatever you want. Maybe many people will be faced with difficulties traveling by this special 2020. However, the facts tell me that when everyone is working on the same thing, the effort may help us to achieve what seems to be “impossible.” No matter what difficulties we encounter, we can all move forward together. Believe in yourself, believe in teammates.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Orenda Spring was the most unforgettable experience of my 2020 summer. We laugh, we cry, and we play as a team together. Within a group of close friends exploring the great nature place, we had the chance to breathe some fresh air and enjoy each other\u2019s company. People come here for having fun, but they leave with something more than just pure joy. Friendship has been strengthened, and we become more confident.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

It is really a memorable experience with our team. All the projects there were interesting and challenging such as climbing nets of rope and jumping from the tree, and I could not complete anyone alone. As a team working and studying together for 2 two months, we cooperated and trusted each other very well. This experience let me deeply feel the necessity and importance of having a team, a group of close friends, in my life and even career life in future. This treasurable opportunity let us know each other furtherly and connected our relationship more closely. I really hope we could keep the relationship and mutually support each other all the time.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

This trip is a fantastic opportunity for team building. We learn more about each other\u2019s personality through conversations and group activities, such as leaning on the rope, getting all the people into a rope net. While we worked together on the activities, we enjoyed the pure spring water which came out from the Orenda spring. Under the luxuriant trees, we listened to the history of indigeneous tribe and how they turn hate to love. <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
