Carol Yang

Founding Member

Carol Yang graduated with honors from Syracuse University in 2023, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Science with a double major in Psychology and Nutrition Science. During her academic journey, Carol received the prestigious Falk Scholar Award and was selected for membership in the Phi Beta Kappa National Honors Society. Her thesis paper, focusing on the impact of omega-3 fatty acids on intergenerational genetics in the context of obesity and fatty liver, is slated for publication.

During her gap year before embarking on a Master’s program in biomedical science, Carol is contributing as a lab technician in a research project centered on mesenchymal stem cells within the Biomedical and Chemical Engineering Department at SU. Her long-term aspiration is to become a physician-scientist specializing in oncology.
