Wendy Wang

Founding Member

Wendy Wang (she/her/hers) is a videographer working for WCNY. Stories about human resilience always inspire her, and she is dedicated to telling non-fiction stories in a cinematic way.

Wendy comes from China, Guangzhou, she tend to empathize with people struggling to find a sense of belonging in a foreign land. She joined the Narratio Fellowship as AIR (Artist In Residence) in 2022, where she helped Syracuse local resettled young refugees to tell their stories through photos and poems.

She is dedicated to telling the story of people who share similar experiences with her.
